Mobile Advertising
I had a meeting with a company that sells mobile advertising today, and of course they brag and boast about their click-through-rate etc..
But it got me thinking, are we more likely to click on things because we’re accessing the web through our mobiles, iPads etc..?
I don’t really see the difference personally, but I have a feeling I might be an outsider here. (I never, ever click on banners – ever..)
According to some studies we’re quickly moving towards position based mobile advertising, which makes perfect sense.
But can’t we think of a better way than banners in mobile versions of sites?
A project by some Hyper Island classmates called Crumble is feeling more and more current..
